International Students that intend to attend any Education Institution or Program lasting more than 30 days in Singapore are required to obtain a Student Visa (Student Pass). If an international student wants to apply for Singapore Permanent Resident (PR), the following conditions must be met:
- Have resided in Singapore for more than 2 years
- Have passed at least one national exam (i.e. PSLE or GCE ‘N’/’O’/’A’ levels) or are in the Integrated Programme (IP).
① Valid passport personal information and official remarks page
② ID card (if any)
③ Birth certificate or official account
④ Proof of name change (if any)
⑤ All academic certificates (including all higher education diplomas), transcripts, professional licenses/association membership certificates/vocational qualification certificates
⑥ Parent's valid passport personal information and official remarks page
●If married, you need:
① Marriage certificate
② Child's birth certificate (if any)
① Male applicants who are granted PR status as a Foreign Student or under their parents' sponsorship are required to register for NS upon reaching 16 ½ years old and will be scheduled for enlistment at the earliest opportunity upon reaching 18 years old.
② The form can be filled out online, or downloaded and then filled and uploaded.
